Meet Your Doula

 To tell you a little bit about myself, I have been married to 
 my wonderful husband Jeff since 2005.  We had our  
 beautiful daughter Keira the following year and our
 handsome son Hunter was born in 2010.  I started
 attending births as a doula in 2004 and received my
 training and certification from DONA International
 (www.dona.org).  I am also currently enrolled at the
 National College of Midwifery, and am studying to become
 a Licensed Midwife so that I am able to assist women who
 desire to deliver at home.
 

I first became interested in pregnancy and delivery when I was still in high school.  I used to watch the birthing shows on TLC and Discovery Health every day, and was fascinated by the entire process of labor and delivery.  Every birth is miraculous and unique in its own way, and I really enjoy being a part of this experience with my clients and their families.  I have participated in homebirths, hospital births and birth center births, so regardless of where you choose to deliver, I can assist you.
