Your Journey

The journey of pregnancy is one filled with excitement and joy as you anticipate the arrival of the newest member of your family.  It is an amazing journey that you are beginning; the start of your new life as a result of the one that is growing within you.  As wonderful as it is, this passage into parenthood can leave some parents feeling apprehensive about what is to come.  Whether this is your first baby or your fifth, you are bound to have questions or concerns about this process, and I would love to help you!

My Promise

A doula is a woman who provides emotional and physical support during pregnancy, childbirth and the immediate postpartum.  As your doula, I will be there to support you and your partner in order to help ensure that you have your ideal childbirth experience.  Since I am self-employed and you are the person hiring me, you can feel at ease knowing that I will have your best interests at heart; not those of your caregiver or hospital.  I believe that a mother has the right to choose what is best for her and her baby, and I will always support you in whatever you feel is right for your family.
